1. Theres an old Knights of the Dinner Table set of strips where Sara is absent from the session and so she has Dave run her barbarian. And Dave, spotting the bonuses that class get to surprise foes when lightly encumbered has the character shed armor, gear and clothing to maximize that bonus. For some reason that comes to mind when watching the Beowulf Naked Ninja fight sequence...

2. All the ladies want a taste of the Beowulf...

3. I wouldn't have thought a major theme of the Beowulf story would be Sons Hate Their Absentee Dads, but there you go...

4. Really its an ok enough movie, lots of gore filled combats for those who enjoy that. Though I think it works better at further pushing the potential boundaries of computer animation than anything else...

But the guy who does the two page inserts in KODT, Brian Burke, or the Brothers Grimm, is a friend of mine, and he did a whole re-enactment of Beowulf on his Supermegatopia site that was teh awesome. But it was pre-movie, so no nakedy goodness for me.

The Brothers Grinn did a Beowulf story without chubby nekkid furry animals? That doesn't sound right...
