New Comics Day 7/10
And now, long delayed by a holiday weekend and then my weak need for rest, COMICS!
Grabbed the latest from the minx line, Brian Wood's The New York Four, but have only skimmed it so far. But looks and reads great so far. Also decided to start picking up Chynna Clugston's Blue Monday trades. Still annoyed that these smaller sized back & whites run 12 bucks, but I think they used to be $18, so thats an improvement...
Only a short pull this week, starting with 100 Bullets. And with 8 issues to go one of the remaining Minutemen learns a valuable lesson. That no matter how Ultimate Billy Bad-ass you are, there is always somone more desperate, thus more willing to go to any length, who will fuck up your day something fierce...
On Nova, Rich manages a last minute ploy to escape the doomed world and in so doing discovers Harrow again. Seems the evil little parasite has been sneaking rides with the Big G to find his preferred food...
And we get a pair of inconclusive battles in Guardians of the Galaxy. Both between the GoG and the Cardnials of the Church of Universal Truth; as well as the partially amnesiac Major Victory and the grim and silent Starhawk...
I also decided to start grabbing a new book from Image. Joe Kelly & JM Ken Niimura's I Kill Giants. 10 year old Barbara KNOWS she's destined for greatness. Not that anyone else understands that...
