Two rival magicians are willing to go to any length in their war with each other. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are riveting in the lead roles. But the supporting cast is no bunch of slouches either. Michael Caine, Piper Perabo, Rebecca Hall and Scarlet Johansson. And Bowie as Tesla. Director Chris Nolan does reveal one of the main swerves a little early I think and the other isn't too difficult to guess. But even with that an excellent movie...

Really? This movie made me look at my watch about 2/3 of the way in. The Illusionist was so much better.

I really enjoyed this movie -- Bale and Jackman were phenomenal -- but I think it would have been better without the metaphysical stuff that took over the end of the film. Still, I'd recommend it to anybody who hasn't seen it yet.
