Pathfinder: Session 4

Left the woods for the nearest frontier style town. Where we sold our our tiger carcasses, bought a few scrolls, brewed some potions and added another leg to the bard's world tour. And briefly hired a ranger out of the crowd attracted to the impromptu concerts. Who got us to the next town without any encounters. The next town was Raven..something. Where we ended up fighting a vampire. No surprise there. You go on a river you meet lizard men. Town with raven in the name? Vampire. Its a rule...

We managed to defeat the bloodsucking, night fiend even though she escaped us. And more importantly I kept Brendon's pyromaniac wizard/rogue from burning down the town by "accident"...

This is the most brillaint idea EVER

One of the things that makes TMNT and Other Strangeness (and many Palladium games) wonderful and frustrating are all the random tables. Everything from your background to your animal species is rolled up on a table. Sure you could just pick, but where is the fun in that? If you did that you’d never find out that chickens can see ultraviolet, and create a mutant rooster gambler who marks his cards with UV paint.

From a discussion of the Transdimensional TMNT rpg supplement at Tor.com...
