Up in the Air

I don't think this movie would have worked with any actor other than Clooney. I'd be hard pressed to think of anyone else who can pull off his effortless ability to be charming. Even when you want to slap him in the back of his smug head, you still like him...

Also, though the movie pushes it as somewhat cold and heartless, I could wish any of my firings were half as considerate as the ones in the movie...
