Whats the point of having a LJ if you can't complain about stuff your family is doing? And what they're doing is redoing the bathrooms. Which would be fine, except the one to the master bedroom isn't finished (no fixtures installed) and they've begun tearing up the one I use. Which means I have to go downstairs to take a leak, and I'll probably have to go to the grandparent's place to take a shower...

Since bathroom remodelling means little chance of getting back to sleep I decided to hit Bookman's. Grabbed a cheap gift for spoonyone (No I won't tell you what it is), a couple issues of Dungeon magazine I probably don't have, some Palladium Fantasy books I didn't have and SR's Paranormal Animals of Europe...

Also snagged a couple paperbacks. Vampire$ by Steakly (which was made into a goofy movie with James Woods) and Ammonite by Nicola Griffith. I liked her Slow River so decided to give her debut book a try...

Damn it!

The right lens on my glasses just fell out. Now I'm going to need to wear my really ugly perscription sunglasses or get an eye-patch. 'Cause I'm having no luck getting the damn thing back in and this squinting shit is going to get old quick...

EDIT: Mike managed to pop the lens back in. I'll probably replace these frames soon. Either go with a guy Mike knows ('cause he always knows a guy) or go to one of the places on my insurance list...
