Dear Health Plan:
You know what would be useful on your site? A list of all the perscriptions you WILL cover. That way, I can have some information on alternatives when I go to talk to my doctor 'cause Lipitrol isn't covered. Plus I'd know BEFORE going to get a refill on the metaformin whether I'm going to have to bring that up with my doctor or not...

I get to field a lot of calls from patients wanting to know how much of our bill they'll have to pay. I tell them if I can get the right information from their doctor then none, but if I keep getting the run around they may have to cover all of it.
Insurance-dealing with them is like playing a game of "Mother may I" while blindfolded and wearing earplugs. GRRRR
